About Calculator Hub

Calculator Hub is a free, no-signup collection of 14 online calculators covering finance, debt, retirement, health, and everyday math. It was built with one conviction: useful tools shouldn't require an account, shouldn't track you across the web, and should give you an answer in seconds.

What you get

  • Privacy by design. Inputs stay in your browser. The site has no server, so there is nothing to leak.
  • Speed. Static HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. Pages load instantly and work offline once visited.
  • Honest recommendations. Affiliate links may appear, but they never change the math. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
  • Currency & theme aware. Money results auto-detect your local currency; switch any time. Dark mode adapts to your system.

How the calculators are built

Each calculator uses standard formulas (the compounding formula, Mifflin-St Jeor for calories, the amortizing payment formula, etc.). Calculations are performed locally in JavaScript; charts are hand-rolled SVG so there are no external chart libraries or weight. We avoid anything that would slow the page down or compromise your inputs.

Who runs it

Calculator Hub is operated by Ian Thornton. The project started as a personal frustration with calculator sites that demand sign-ups, slow to load, and bury the answer under ads — so the goal here is the opposite: instant, private, useful tools that respect your time.

Educational intent

The tools and articles on this site are educational, not personalized advice. For decisions involving your specific financial, medical, or legal situation, please consult a licensed professional.
